Reagan seeks radio chain in Central America

The Reagan administration asked Congress to provide funds for a new network of radio stations in Central America to increase US influence in the region.

Charles Wick, director of the US International Communications Agency (ICA), told a House foreign affairs subcommittee the network would cost about $11.2 million.
