Union officials are likely to find places on a growing list of corporate boards.

Unions are insisting that if they give concessions at bargaining tables they should be allowed a voice in management decisions.

Capt. Robert L. Gould, a 747 jumbo jet pilot and an official of the Air Line Pilots Association, has been nominated by Pan American World Airways for its board. He is expected to be seated officially at a stockholders meeting May 11. Pan Am's five unions agreed last fall to help the airline get back in the black after heavy losses in 1981.

United Auto Workers president Douglas Fraser is the most well-known union leader serving on a corporate board. He was named to Chrysler Corporation's board after UAW made major concessions to the automaker.
