Ruckelshaus says he'll review acid rain policy
William Ruckelshaus pledged he will conduct a major review of the Reagan administration's policy on acid rain pollution. Mr. Ruckelshaus, President Reagan's nominee for chief of the Environmental Protection Agency, made the promise during questioning by the Senate Environment Committee. He said he talked to Secretary of State George Shultz about the acid rain problem, which affects the US and Canada. The two countries are deadlocked in negotiations on the issue.
