Touchy Autonomy law overruled in Spain

Spain's Supreme Court ruled against a controversial autonomy law that has been under constant attack from Basque and Catalan nationalists since it was passed by parliament a year ago. The ruling was expected to be greeted as a victory by the nationalists, who said the law reduced powers already granted to the Basque and Catalan communities in separate statutes.
