Air France uses non-union pilots to Moscow

An Air France plane, manned by non-union pilots, flew to Moscow Saturday for the fourth time since a pilots' union boycott began Tuesday. Air France is the only Western airline except for Austrian Airlines not to have stopped flights to Moscow in protest at the Soviet destruction of a South Korean airliner.

Weekend flights to Paris by the Soviet airline Aeroflot have been cancelled because West Germany and Switzerland have banned the Soviet airline from flying over their territory.

Meanwhile, the Finnish government has asked national airport ground staff not to join the boycott of the Soviet airline. The government said it was of vital international importance that flights into and out of Finland not be upset.
