Florida executes murder convict
Convicted killer Robert Sullivan, who had been on death row longer than any other inmate in the country, was executed in the electric chair at the Florida State Penitentiary near here Wednesday.
Sullivan became the ninth man to be executed since capital punishment was reintroduced in the US in 1976.
