Bush says Lebanon to get more US antiterror help

Vice-President George Bush announced Monday that the United States would provide new antiterrorist aid to the Lebanese government. He was speaking after a brief official visit to Luxembourg and before flying to Moscow for the funeral today of Soviet leader Yuri Andropov.

Mr. Bush told a news conference he hoped other countries contributing to the multinational peacekeeping force in Beirut would join in the effort to combat terrorism.
