Radio South Africa said in a commentary that an incursion into Namibia by 800 guerrillas of the South-West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) posed a severe test for a recent South African-Angolan cease-fire agreement.

Radio South Africa said: ''The true test of the peace agreement will come later, when both sides are fully engaged in its implementation. SWAPO's efforts to kill it off even before it has begun to take effect should rather spur the signatories to redouble their own efforts. . . .''
