Hart a heavy winner in Oregon, Nebraska

Sen. Gary Hart picked up two more states Wednesday in his bid for the Democratic nomination. With nearly complete returns, Mr. Hart had 59 percent and Democratic front-runner Walter Mondale had 27 percent in both Nebraska and Oregon. The Rev. Jesse Jackson had 10 percent in Oregon and 9 percent in Nebraska.

Mr. Hart appeared to have picked up 16 delegates in Nebraska, with Mr. Mondale getting 8. In Colorado, Hart was expected to get 29 delegates to Mondale's 14.
