BLOOMSDAY CELEBRATIONS The 80th anniversary of the Day in Dublin featured in James Joyce's ''Ulysses'' will be celebrated by the following organizations:

Boston Public Library will show the film ''Ulysses,'' starring Milo O'Shea, in Rabb Lecture Hall, at 2 p.m. Sat.

City Stage Company will present two plays adapted from Joyce's works: ''Gossipaceous Anna Livia'' (from ''Finnegan's Wake'') and ''Molly in Bloom'' (from ''Ulysses''), at Massachusetts College of Art, Tower Auditorium, 621 Huntington Ave. Call for times: 266-2733.

Arts and Society will present its sixth annual evening of music, poetry, and dramatic scenes based on the text of Joyce at 8 p.m. Saturday at Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Ave.
