Democrats call for US action to bar raids from Honduras

In the wake of the deaths of two Americans in a combat helicopter crash in Nicaragua, Democrats are calling for action by Congress and the Reagan administration to prevent US-built bases in Honduras from being used for raids across the border.

Nicaragua's foreign minister, Miguel d'Escoto, appearing on NBC's ''Today'' show, said, ''We have documents to prove they were coming with a flight plan,'' and added that the helicopter could only have come from the CIA-built airport.
