President signs bill requiring new cigarette warning labels

President Reagan signed legislation Saturday that requires cigarette packages and advertising to carry stern new warnings about health hazards of smoking. The four different warnings from the US surgeon general are required to be conspicuous and prominent and to be rotated on a quarterly basis.
