Polish primate meets Pope; word on murder still awaited

Jozef Cardinal Glemp, Poland's Roman Catholic primate, arrived here Monday for his first meeting with Pope John Paul II since the murder last month of the Rev. Jerzy Popieluszko, the pro-Solidarity priest.

In a letter read at all masses in Poland, Cardinal Glemp said church authorities continued to wait ''for a final and full explanation of Fr. Popieluszko's murder.''
