Ver's family reported willing to accept an Aquino verdict
Col. Erwin Ver, a son of the armed forces chief of staff, Gen. Favian Ver, said Tuesday night his family would accept a court decision against his father, who was implicated in the murder of Philippine opposition leader Benigno Aquino.
General Ver, two other generals, and 23 others were named in the majority report of a five-member commission of inquiry. Ver has gone on leave pending further court action.
