US missiles in West Germany upheld by high court in

The deployment of US Pershing II missiles on West German soil is constitutional, the Supreme Court here ruled Tuesday. A suit against the stationing was filed by the Greens party on two premises: that sole US control over these weapons robbed West Germany of part of its sovereignty and that the stationing required a special empowering act by the Bundestag. The court rejected both claims.
