Keep cool snacks in the freezer by making your own popsicles

Popsicles are simple to make. Just freeze them in ice-cube trays or popsicle molds. If using ice cube trays, insert the stick into the mixture when it's partly frozen. Strawberry Frappe Popsicles 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, sweetened 1/2 cup cream cheese, cubed 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 cup milk

Put all ingredients in blender and pur'ee. Pour mixture into popsicle molds or ice-cube tray. Freeze 12 hours or overnight. Serves 8. Orange-Pineapple Popsicles 1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 cup carbonated soda water

Blend ingredients in a blender. Pour mixture into popsicle molds or ice-cube tray. Freeze 12 hours or overnight. Makes 8 popsicles. Vanilla Pudding Popsicle 1/4 cup prepared regular or instant vanilla pudding 1 tablespoon raisins Dash cinnamon Dash nutmeg

Spoon 1/4 cup of the pudding to within 1/4 inch of top of popsicle mold. Swirl raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg through pudding. Cover. Freeze 12 hours or overnight. Makes 1 popsicle. Apple Popsicles 1 large apple 1 cup unsweetened apple juice 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Peel and core apple. Cut into large chunks, pur'ee in blender with juice and cinnamon.

Pour into popsicle mold or ice-cube tray. Freeze 12 hours or overnight. Chocolate Swirl Popsicles 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt 1 teaspoon chocolate syrup

Swirl chocolate syrup through yogurt. Fill a plastic popsicle mold to within 1/4 inch of top with mixture. Cover.

Freeze 12 hours or overnight. Makes 1 popsicle.
