The American Film Institute Salute to Barbara Stanwyck (ABC, 9-10 p.m.): Film clips and stories told by friends are used in this tribute - hosted by Jane Fonda - to the actress's 60-year career.

NBC Family Special (8-9 p.m.): ``The Incredible Ida Early'' tells of an unorthodox housekeeper who uses tall tales and other devices to win over a motherless family. SATURDAY

Wonderworks (PBS, 8-9 p.m., check local listings): Second and final part of ``Colour in the Creek'' about the Fletcher family of Australia during troubled times in 1931.

SUNDAY

Grand Prix of Monaco (ABC, 4-6 p.m.): Narrow streets, hairpin turns, and flocks of jet setters mark this grandest of auto races, held within sight of the Mediterranean.

French Open Tennis Championships (NBC, 2:30-4:30 p.m.): From Roland Garros Stadium, Paris.

Nature (PBS, 8-9 p.m., check local listings): ``The Feathered Swarm'' - Queleas, small birds that local farmers fear almost as much as locusts, struggle for survival on the East African plains.

MONDAY

American Playhouse (PBS, 9-10:30 p.m., check local listings): ``Blue Window,'' Craig Lucas's Off Broadway play, explores the personal lives and relationships of seven New Yorkers.

Ossie & Ruby (PBS, 10:30-11 p.m., check local listings): ``Refrigerator'' - comedy about the frustrations of a New York man who receives abuse at work - and can't even get a second-hand refrigerator to work.

TUESDAY

Frontline (PBS, 9-10 p.m., check local listings): ``Israel - the Price of Victory.'' A look, taken on the 20th anniversary of the Six-Day War, at Israel's struggle with its image and its role as a democracy.

The Presidency and the Constitution (PBS, 10-11 p.m., check local listings): ``The Balance of Nuclear Terror'' - a distinguished panel discusses how a US president should respond to a hypothetical Soviet proposal for arms-reduction talks. Former president Jimmy Carter is among the guests.

WEDNESDAY

ABC Afterschool Specials (4-5 p.m.): The Harlem Globetrotters - clown princes of basketball - and actor Philip Bosco star in this story dealing with adult illiteracy.

THURSDAY

Moyers: In Search of the Constitution (PBS, 8-9 p.m., check local listings): Moyers talks with Attorney General Edwin Meese III and Robert Bork, Judge of the Circuit Court of Appeals, Washington, D.C., and former US Solicitor General and Acting Attorney General.
