MONDAY An Evening of Championship Skating (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): Top-ranked amateurs perform on ice. Costa Rica: Child in the Wind (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): Probing report on how Costa Rica remains demilitarized and committed to democratic principles amid regional turmoil.

TUESDAY Don't I Know You?: Cagney & Lacey (CBS, 10-11 P.M.): TV's best-written (and probably best-acted) series moves to new time with effective but shockingly frank episode on date rape. Who Lives, Who Dies? (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): James Earl Jones narrates a provocative documentary on the state of health care in the US. The Killing of Bhopal (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): View through the eyes of a few survivors of the 1984 Bhopal accident that killed thousands.

WEDNESDAY The Infinite Voyage: To the Edge of the Earth (PBS, 8-9 p.m.): Report on research in rain forests, lava caves, and the ``top of the world.'' Discover: The World of Science (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): New episode travels with a troop of baboons in Kenya. Louis Rukeyser's 1988 Money Guide (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): ``Wall Street Week'' host takes a look at what's ahead economically in 1988.

THURSDAY Agatha Christie's Miss Marple: Sleeping Murder (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): ``Mystery!'' tackles still another case with Joan Hickson as Miss Marple in one of Christie's last - and best.
