VOYAGER IMAGES DISCOVER THREE MOONS OF NEPTUNE

Images from the Voyager 2 spacecraft revealed three previously unknown moons circling Neptune, bringing to six the number of satellites known to be orbiting the blue planet, scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory said. The space probe was 22 million miles from Neptune when the moons were confirmed by scientists last week.
