WORTH NOTING ON TV

SUNDAY Indianapolis 500 (ABC, 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. ET. Not carried in Indianpolis): Last year Emerson Fittipaldi became the first driver to make more than a million dollars as winner - despite a last-minute challenge by Al Unser Jr. - adding to the electricity at this greatest of auto races. It's the 74th time around for the Indy - and the 24th year in a row ABC has aired it. National Memorial Day Concert (PBS, 8-9:30 p.m., ET): Some 200,000 people are expected to gather to watch the National Symphony, the US Army Chorus, the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and lots of stars perform at this event - live from the West Lawn of the Capitol - as it traces a course of patriotic music through American wars.

MONDAY Stalin (PBS, 9-10 p.m. ET): Rare footage and talks with living relatives help draw this three-program profile of the man who ruled the Soviet Union for a quarter of century and put his giant stamp on the cold war. This premi`ere show - ``Revolutionary'' - follows him up through the communist hierarchy, shouldering out rivals until he was dictator.

WEDNESDAY Rolling Stones: The Steel Wheels Concert (Fox, 8-10 p.m. ET): This special offers solid rock and a stunt: songs from a December stand in Atlanta by Mick Jagger and the reunited Stones - last stop in a 33-city ``Steel Wheels'' North American tour. The album - their 39th - went multiplatinum and the tour sold some 3 million tickets. The Stunt? For about 79 cents you can get special cardboard glasses at various retailers and see three of the show's songs in 3-D. Please check local listings for all programs, especially on PBS.
