Use of cash machines during the holiday season has increased steadily over the past several years, according to Plus System Inc., an international network of automated teller machines.Trips to Plus ATMs in December 1990 were up 33 percent over December 1989. This year, Plus projects an 80 percent increase in ATM use over last year's holiday season.
