CORRECTION COCorrection for 6/17/92

A Page 1 photo caption June 17 should have said that immigrants to the United States early in this century came mostly from Eastern and Southern Europe, not Northern Europe. On Page 11 of the same edition, the last few words quoted from two new immigrants were inadvertently left off the page. Mariya Kovaleva's complete final sentence was "We have three years to pay for our airline tickets." Hiwet Melash Gebreselassie's quote concludes "In America, I am going home and locking my home."
