UN INSPECTION TEAM WITHDRAWS FROM STANDOFF IN IRAQ

A team of United Nations weapons inspectors withdrew from outside an Iraqi government building yesterday, fearing violence after a 17-day standoff.

Baghdad has rejected the inspectors' demands to enter the Agriculture Ministry, which the inspectors believe contain documents about Iraqi missiles.
