WESTERN POWERS MOVE TOWARD UN RESOLUTION ON YUGOSLAVIA

France, Britain, and the United States have agreed on the text of a United Nations resolution on humanitarian aid and detention camps in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the French government said yesterday.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Maurice Gourdault-Montagne said the three countries had agreed this weekend on a text to be put to other members of the UN Security Council. He said the proposals could go to a vote tomorrow.

He declined to give details of the text but said it responded to France's demands. France said Friday it would ask the UN to boost its force in former Yugoslavia so it could take on a more offensive role to protect aid convoys and control detention camps.

"The text is not public, but it responds to the objective of free and immediate access to camps," he said.
