WORLD MUSIC Angelique Kidjo - Aye (Mango): The last release from this African vocalist from Benin, ``Logozo,'' topped the world-music charts. This latest effort has the same winning formula. It's state-of-the-art dance music, with African funk rhythms supplanted by pop smarts, and superb production by Will Mowat and David Z, famous for his work with Prince. Singing in her native language, Fon, and in Yoruba, a Nigerian language, Kidjo displays a powerful voice that blasts out of the mix. The singer, who co-writes all of her material, also offers several gorgeous ballads.
