WORTH NOTING ON TV

* WEDNESDAY seaQuest 2032 (NBC, 8-9 p.m. EDT): In the season finale of ''seaQuest DSV'' last May, the seaQuest submarine was transported to a distant planet where an explosive civil war left the crew's fate uncertain. This season, the show moves to a new night, takes place 10 years later, has a new captain, and centers around a new theme - prompting the show's new name, which now signifies the year it takes place. This season premiere introduces the submarine's new captain, Oliver Hudson, played by Michael Ironside (''ER''). The submarine - which has returned to Earth with its disoriented crew - faces a more dangerous geopolitical world peopled with ruthless world leaders and corrupt corporate moguls. Spotlight With Phyllis George (TNN, 8-9 p.m. EDT): Phyllis George's series of specials begins its second year of celebrity interviews with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young, engineer-turned-comedian Jeff Foxworthy, and TV and radio personality Leeza Gibbons. * THURSDAY Lucifer's Child (A&E, 9-11 p.m.): Julie Harris brings her Tony-nominated performance in the 1991 Broadway play to television. This one-woman show portrays Danish storyteller Isak Dinesen, who wrote the autobiographical ''Out of Africa'' and ''Babette's Feast'' (both were turned into Academy Award-winning films). ''Lucifer's Child'' is set in the author's Denmark home on New Year's Eve in 1958 and later in May 1959. A lively and warmhearted Harris shares stories from Dinesen's life: her plantation in Kenya, her father's suicide, her trusted Somali servant, and her love affair with British game hunter and safari guide Denys Finch Hatton. William Luce wrote ''Lucifer's Child'' for both Broadway and this adaptation. The original Broadway director, Tony Abatemarco, directed the television production.
