World Series (ABC, 7-10 p.m. EST): Game 7 (if necessary), Cleveland Indians vs. Atlanta Braves at the Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.

A Streetcar Named Desire (CBS, 8-11 p.m.): Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin draw on their Broadway performances in Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize-winning play for this TV rendition. Set in a New Orleans tenement in the 1940s, the story portrays the fragile Blanche DuBois (Lange), who moves in with her sister (Diane Lane) and brother-in-law (Baldwin).

Production designer Fred Harpman paid close attention to details for the film's set, including muted colors that harmonize with the actors' costumes, and vintage '40s wallpaper. The play was produced and directed by six-time Emmy winner Glenn Jordan.

* MONDAY

High Society (CBS, 9:30-10 p.m.): CBS is already wheeling out a series replacement for the canceled ''If Not for You.'' This comedy stars Jean Smart and Mary McDonnell as best friends living the good life in New York's publishing world.

* TUESDAY

Here Come the Munsters (FOX, 8-10 p.m.): Among the Halloween programs is this new film based on the '60s TV series. Several original ''Munsters'' cast members make cameo appearances as the Munster family uproots itself to Los Angeles.

Frontline (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): In the still vastly undeveloped realm of cyberspace, everything is up for grabs. This edition of the documentary series, entitled ''High Stakes in Cyberspace,'' looks at what businesses have to gain from on-line ventures - when immediate yields look low. Discussions with venture capitalists, software designers, and advertisers shed light on the social and cultural revolution that cyber-commerce has the potential to bring about.
