Employee loyalty makes gains worldwide

Employee loyalty is alive and well, according to a survey of human-resources managers in eight countries by Manpower Inc.

The survey found 26 percent of HR managers reported loyalty had increased, while 22 percent said it had fallen during the previous three years. Women report higher levels of loyalty toward their employers than do men. Loyalty was highest in Mexico, the Netherlands, and the US, and lowest in Japan and Italy.
