Gold's journey

Workers wash a few gold nuggets that they found during the day in the Kola mine wells in Mali. In the spring of 2008, a gold mine was discovered in a forest a few kilometers from Kola village and, within a matter of weeks, hundreds of people came from Sierra Leone, Senegal, Guinea, The Ivory Coast and elsewhere to set up camp in the surrounding area with the intention of digging for their fortune.
