Helping hands for Tibetans in China

Doctors Phuntsok, (l.), and Drogha listen to a mother who brought in her child for a checkup at their free health clinic in Jherekhe, on the Tibetan Plateau in China. The clinic is funded by the Surmang Foundation, an American NGO. The foundation is the first foreign NGO to be registered in Quinghai Province. Both doctors were trained in Beijing.
