Who said that? Match the Republican candidates with the quotes.

Politicians say the darndest things sometimes. True to form, the Republican candidates in this presidential election cycle have had their share of defensive retorts, philosophical ruminations, and platform-affirming declarations. But can you guess who said what? Take the quiz.

Republican presidential candidates from left: former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, businessman Herman Cain, and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. They gathered prior to a debate Sept. 22 in Orlando, Fla.

Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain campaigned in Talladega, Ala., on Oct. 28. He's a mathematician, a minister, a former radio talk show host, and a pizza magnate. But most of all, Herman Cain is a salesman. And how he sells. 'The sleeping giant called "we the people" has awakened,' Cain thundered at his campaign event, pacing the stage in his trademark dark suit, brown fedora, and 'lucky' gold tie. The rollicking, 45-minute performance evoked an old-fashioned church revival, complete with cries of 'Amen' from the audience.
