I'm off to the mall (and may be there for quite a while)

In the mood for a marathon shopping experience? Put yourself in the place of fans attending this summer's Beijing Olympics. When not watching the athletes compete, they'll have two of the world's 10 largest malls to choose between. The biggest of the big, however, also happens to be in China. Dongguan, 100 or so miles northwest of Hong Kong, boasts the 1,500-store South China Mall. That complex has nearly three times as many stores as the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., which is No. 1 in the US. The South China Mall has 8,000 parking spaces. Inside, it is divided into seven themed districts meant to represent California, Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, a Caribbean coast, a tropical rain forest, and Egypt.
