Portraits and Palettes" an exhibition featuring black and white photographic portraits of approximately 50 California artists by Mimi Jacobs, and color photographs of the artists' Palettes by artist Leta Ramos, is on view through September 14 in the Contemporary Art Galleries, Lytton Halls, on the third level of the Frances and Armand Hammer Wing at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Organized at the Oakland Museum, the exhibition Features the portraits and palettes of such Southern California artists as William Brice, Vija Celmins, Richard Diebenkorn, Robert Graham, Sam Francis, and Norman Zammitt, and Northern California artists like William Allan, Nathan Oliveira, and Joseph Raffael.
