Innocent people in prison from Mao era, China says

Innocent people are still in Chinese labor camps as a result of political persecution during the Maoist era, an official magazine reported. The monthly Democracy and Legal System said in a commentary that an unspecified number of wrongly convicted political prisoners had written to its editors appealing for their release.
