Enter trowels and mortar in a Berlin wall protest

Protesters with a sense of humor marked the 20th anniversary of the Berlin wall by cementing up the entrance to the West Berlin office of the Soviet airline, Aeroflot. A group of 8 to 10 people, who said they were protesting the wall built by the East German government to halt the mass flight of refugees to West Berlin, quietly went to work with blocks, mortar and trowels and built a wall 3 feet high and 9 feet wi de across the office entrance.
