Congress OKs bill to put trains back on the track

The House gave final congressional approval Wednesday to halt a crippling strike that shut down most of the nation's rail service and severely hurt the economy for four days.
The House OK'd President Reagan's bill, which passed the Senate Tuesday night , to impose a mandatory settlement on striking locomotive engineers.
A White House spokesman said Mr. Reagan would sign the bill as soon as it reached his desk. And a union spokesman said all 26,000 members are expected to comply.
