FRIDAY Best of Broadway (PBS, 9-11:15 p.m.): Repeat of a tribute to the American musical theater, with song and dance numbers from 22 musical hits, with some misses. Tom Bosley is host. SATURDAY

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (CBS, 8-8:30 p.m.): Repeat of classic Dr. Seuss holiday special.

Frosty the Snowman (CBS, 8:30-9 p.m.): Rerun of another kiddie classic, this one narrated by ye olde schnozzola, Jimmy Durante.

Cinderella (PBS, 7-9:50 p.m.): ``Dance in America'' presents the San Francisco Ballet version of this Prokofiev score, starring Evelyn Cisneros. Just to keep it from getting too solemn, introduction is by Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog.

Sentimental Journeys (PBS, 10 p.m.-midnight): A repeat of this musical retrospective from the big-band sound to cabarets, featuring such stalwarts from the past as Tony Martin, Cyd Charisse, and Kay Starr. SUNDAY

All-Star Party for `Dutch' Reagan (CBS, 8-9 p.m.): The President gets roasted by show-biz friends in this Variety Club charity special.

Circus of the Stars (CBS, 9-11 p.m.): Burt Lancaster hosts the 10th annual celebrity big top. See your favorite stars perform feats of daring even greater than some of the roles they try on camera.

Bleak House (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): Part 2 of ``Masterpiece Theatre'' version of Dickens classic. A veritable picture gallery of Victoriana.

NFL Football (ABC, 9 p.m.): Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the San Diego Chargers, live from San Diego. MONDAY

Alice in Wonderland (CBS, 8-10 p.m.; also Tuesday, 8-10 p.m.): Yet another version of Lewis Carroll's classic, with original songs by Steve Allen, special effects by ``Star Wars'' specialist John Dykstra, and lots of stars.

Love Is Never Silent (NBC, 9-11 p.m.): Drama about the problems of adjustment for a hearing child of hearing-impaired parents. Stars Phyllis Frelich, Ed Waterstreet, and Mare Winningham.

Power Struggle (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): Problems that stem from our reliance on nuclear power and fossil fuels. Narrator Meryl Streep asks how we can plan a benign energy future. TUESDAY

Moonlighting (9-10 p.m.): You might want to take a peek at the unorthodox detective series that has become this season's cult show -- the one all the ``in'' viewers are raving about.

Barbara Walters Special (10-11 p.m.): Another session of Barbara's interviews with celebrities: Cybill Shepherd, Angela Lansbury, and Michael J. Fox.

Apprentice to the Gods: Reuben Nakian (PBS,10-11 p.m.): One of America's greatest living sculptors, 87-year-old Nakian explains his work and comments on his life as a sculptor. Hilton Kramer adds his overview.

Johnny Cash Christmas Special (CBS, 10-11 p.m.):The Cash family welcomes Jerry Lee Lewis and many other country stars for Johnny's 10th anniversary Christmas show at the Grand Ole Opry. WEDNESDAY

The Nile With Brian Thompson (PBS, 8-9 p.m.): One of Africa's greatest rivers gets the ``River Journey'' treatment from playwright-novelist Thompson in the fifth episode of this superb travel series.

Mary (CBS, 8-8:30 p.m.): Mary Tyler Moore returns in an MTM-standard series about a divorc'ee making her way in Chicago. See preview today.

Foley Square (CBS, 8:30-9 p.m.): Premi`ere of another working-woman show. In this one Margaret Colin plays it like MTM 10 years younger. Worth a look. See preview today.

Mr. Previn Comes to Town (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): Andr'e Previn's assumption of the music directorship of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, featuring excerpts from the gala opening concert and lots of backstage histrionics. THURSDAY

My Cousin Rachel (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): Part 2 of ``Mystery!'' a version of Daphne du Maurier's novel featuring Geraldine Chaplin.
