Dramatic imagesThe recent series of photographs from the Middle East are simply superb. Among the most striking are those illustrating the fighting of the Gulf oil fires, Aug. 1, and the front page Aug. 2, showing a group of Palestinians watching family members being loaded into buses to go to detention centers.
