Super Bowl XXXV (CBS, 6 p.m.): Football's biggest day stars the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants. CBS offers six hours of pregame extravaganza and halftime performances by 'N Sync and Aerosmith, not to mention all the new ads.

Ancient Earthquakes: Sunken Cities (Discovery, 9-10 p.m.): Ancient Alexandria at the mouth of the Nile was the New York of the ancient world. What can we learn from its mysterious fate to help save our own coastal cities? This excellent documentary is as dramatic and gripping as any fiction.

Frontline: Juvenile Justice (PBS, check local listings): What happens to the children who enter the criminal system? This important documentary opens up a huge can of worms about the failure of parents as well as the mistakes of children.
