Amazon’s Kindle tablet will be a powerful promoters of Amazon products.

In many ways, Amazon’s Kindle tablet is just another way to drive more Amazon consumption, including e-books, MP3 Store, Cloud Drive, Amazon Prime movie streaming, etc.

“In March, Amazon launched a Cloud Drive service that lets customers store files on its servers. In the same month, it also unveiled an Appstore for Android smartphones and tablets, getting it into the business of selling games,” Reuters reported in July. “Amazon wants a tablet to get customers to buy more of its other products.”

It’s also rumored that Amazon would include membership in Amazon Prime (usually $79) as part of the $250 price tag on the Kindle tablet. That opens the tablet to being used for Amazon’s Netflix-like movie streaming service. PC World reports that there are also rumors that Amazon is preparing a subscription model for e-books (like Netflix for books), which would also be included in the Amazon Prime service.

In short, Amazon’s Kindle tablet might be the best salesman for Amazon products.
