Sarah Palin will write a second book(Read article summary)
Four months after the highly successful launch of "Going Rogue," Sarah Palin says she's ready to write again.
If once you succeed, why not try again? That may be the motto for Sarah Palin, as she prepares to write a second book a mere four months after the launch of her memoir "Going Rogue," which has now sold more than 2.2 million copies.
Palin's second book deal was announced today by HarperCollins. The publisher says that Palin's second book will be a “celebration of American virtues and strengths” and will include excerpts selected by Palin from and about people who have inspired her in her life and career.
The book does not yet have a title but HarperCollins adds that "Palin will reflect on the key values – both national and spiritual – that have been such a profound part of her life and which continue to inform her vision of the future."
The announcement about the book will likely cause further speculation over Palin's future plans. Will she take a run at the US presidency in 2012? Or is she moving happily into a new role as a television commentator and personality?
One area that now seems beyond the realm of speculation, however, is the degree of Palin's success as an author. The readers who flocked to her book tour and have pushed "Going Rogue" to the top of bestseller lists are not likely to back down now.
