With wineries, a farmers market, and a thriving arts scene, Corvallis is known for attracting tourists to its Da Vinci Day’s festival, which showcases local culture. Only 1.3 percent of the area’s homes are in foreclosure. But a subset of those homes – those with subprime mortgages – have a 9.5 percent foreclosure rate.
