Seattle's Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the history of popular music and science fiction, was also designed by Gehry. The structure of the building has been compared by the Seattle Weekly and by Gehry to a smashed electric guitar. The building's curves are said to have been inspired by the classic Fender Stratocaster.
