People stand around the Imagine Peace Tower as it is illuminated on Videy Island in Kollafjordur Bay near Reykjavik, Iceland, on Oct. 9. The tower, a memorial to John Lennon from his widow Yoko Ono, consists of searchlights pointed high into the sky from a white stone monument with the words "Imagine Peace" carved into it in 24 languages.
