THE DALAI LAMA: Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, wears the traditional Buddhist monk's saffron and maroon robes. His accessories are often awards and medals, such as the Tom Lantos Human Rights Prize, awarded to the Dalai Lama on Oct. 6. The countries he visits often give him gifts. Canadian native elders recently gave him a cowboy hat, fur mittens, and an eagle feather.
