US Air Force veteran Bill Schaefer of Belmont, Michigan is pictured. He tracks down ribbons and medals for other veterans that they didn't know they received or were lost. Schaefer says he enjoys the history involved in researching their stories. Schaefer himself served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1975, mostly in Europe.
