Mission? Box-office receipts Hollywood usually knows a good thing when it sees it, and there's no doubt that the James Bond movies have engaged moviegoers for a long time. The action-packed adventures began in 1962, with "Dr. No," when Sean Connery portrayed Agent 007 of Her Majesty's Secret Service. Now "Quantum of Solace," the 23rd Bond flick and the second starring Daniel Craig (the sixth different Bond) is packing theaters. In its opening weekend earlier this month, it did $70.4 million worth of business, easily topping the previous best for a Bond movie.
