Five ways Moneygall is welcoming Obama 'home' to Ireland

President Obama put the little town of Moneygall, Ireland, with its population of approximately 300, on the map today. Here are some highlights of the town's preparation (and gimmicks) for Obama's visit.

Welcome home, Barack Obama

The Corrigan Brothers, a band from nearby city Limerick, became Internet sensations in 2008 because of a singalong they wrote called “There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama.” In honor of his visit to his Irish “hometown,” they performed a new piece called “Welcome Home, President Barack Obama” on Saturday night. The AP reports that they’ve tweaked the ditty for his reelection campaign as well.
