Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

An April 28 article included the Izaak Walton League among supporters of Senate Bill 49, a proposal to open 12 million acres of national park land in Alaska to sport hunting. In fact, a league spokesman said the organization has taken no position on the bill.
