The United Press International Board of Coaches Top 20 1983 college football ratings, with first-place votes in parentheses (total points based on 15 points for first place, 14 for second, etc.). 1. Pittsburgh (2-0) 194 10. Oklahoma (1-1) 176 11. Georgia (1-0-1) 142 12. Southern Methodist (2-0) 138 13. Florida (2-0-1) 128 14. Auburn (1-1) 119 15. Boston College (3-0) 85 16.
